When this estate condition mid-Century apartment was purchased, our clients required multiple updates to accommodate their busy work lives while allowing the flexibility to work, exercise, and entertain guests.

We focused on dividing the space with a single angle seperating the kitchen, flexible office/guest space with the living and dining areas. This angle defines the apartment entry and terminates at a building mullion to preference the room's main source of natural light from the long ribbon windows. The office/guest space is enclosed on two sides with glass and the kitchen wall was opened up to the main space to increase connection to the dining room. Overall, the apartment feels more open and connected while retaining storage for a bar, the kitchen, entry, office, and guests.
