This new ground-up home was designed as a retirement home for two Michiganders. The lot on the south side of a lake with a steep bank allowed for some great views across the watershed. The owners wanted a fairly simple home, with flexible extra bedrooms for visiting family and friends, as well as an open living space on two levels that would spill outdoors in the warmer months.
