PROSPECT HEIGHTS TOWNHOUSE

This two family home was enlarged vertically and horizontally to accommodate the two related families in a double duplex configuration. Each family has a bedroom floor, an open living room and kitchen floor, and outdoor space.

The additions are modern, but don't destroy the historical character of the facade - stepping back at the third floor and penthouse. Simple materials were chosen to compliment the existing masonry, while being durable and honest. (photographs by Brian Berman)
