In order to downsize and make better use of her apartment, this empty-nester subdivided her space into three units. Two of these new apartments act as income-producing rentals. In order to make the resulting third apartment meet the client’s needs, we combined the kitchen/dining room with the living room, taking advantage of her favorite space in the apartment.  The remaining rooms consist of a combination music room/den/guest room, a new master bedroom and bathroom, and a new laundry space.
